Engineering To Participate in Manoa Green Days “Power Down” March 23-31

The UH Mānoa College of Engineering will be participating in Mānoa Green Days “Power Down” during the following period:

  •  March 23 through March 31, 2013

BUILDING STATUS:

  • Holmes Hall is closed to the public.  Air conditioning system will be on, but air flow may be reduced by up to 50%.  Fans will be running at 50%.  Room temperature may be slightly warmer than usual.
  • POST Building is open.
  • College of Engineering Computer Lab in POST Building Room 208 is open from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, except holidays, and available for use by Faculty and Staff who normally work in Holmes Hall and require a fully air conditioned working environment during Mānoa Green Days.

 PERSONNEL THAT ARE ON DUTY:

  • Executive positions
  • Faculty positions (BU07) on 11-month appointment, i.e. specialists, researchers
  • Lecturer positions (Non BU07)
  • Graduate Teaching/Research Assistant positions
  • APT positions (BU08) funded by extramural funds
  • Civil Service positions (BU01)
  • Civil Service positions (BU03) funded by extramural funds
  • Casual Hire positions
  • Student Assistant positions

 PERSONNEL THAT ARE ON PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAYS:

  • Faculty positions (BU07) on 9-month appointments

PERSONNEL THAT ARE ON SUPPLEMENTAL TIME OFF:

  • APT positions (BU08) funded by appropriated funds
  • Civil Service positions (BU03) funded by appropriated funds
