UH Graduates Take 2nd Place at Caltech Competition

Akabotics — a project by University of Hawai’i at Manoa graduates Monica Umeda (MS – Electrical Engineering) and Newton Parks (D.Arch) — tied for second-place honors at the 2016 western regional finals that Caltech conducts for the U.S. Department of Energy’s annual green-energy business plan competition.
